preschool Preschool Program
Perfect Balance Preschool will provide your child with a solid foundation and a rewarding early childhood experience. Through the combined efforts of our program and your support, your child will be well prepared for the challenges of their next journey.
Some of the skills your child will be working on in Preschool include:
Storytelling and imaginative skills
Pattern building
Counting and number recognition
Observing and identifying changes in the environment
Letter recognition and sound correspondence
Cooperation in a group setting
Music and rhythm
Creative artistic expression
Preschool programs run from 9:00 to 1:00 and are available Monday through Friday.
kindergarten Kindergarten Program
We focus on the process of learning and offer structured areas that allow freedom of choice. Our educational materials are thought provoking, stimulating and enticing for all young minds. The daily curriculum provides opportunities for confidence building, critical thinking, exploring, socialization, working independently and learning to be part of a group.
Some of the skills your child will be working on in Kindergarten include:
Early reading skills
Hand writing
Basic concept of time, money and measurement
Graphing
Math computation
Collaboration with classmates
Our Kindergarten program runs from
9:00 to 1:00, Monday through Friday.
Toddler Toddler Program
During the school year, toddlers will…
Gain self-confidence and independence in a safe, stimulating environment
Interact with peers in a group atmosphere and form new friendships,
Learn to follow simple directions and seek assistance from their peers and educator
Enhance their hand-eye coordination through multiple fine motor projects
Develop an excitement for learning and realize that “Learning is Fun” at Perfect Balance
Young children learn best through exploration. In the toddler classroom, children will engage in a variety of fun, hands on experiences. Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to join in group games and activities to enhance their social and emotional skills.
The Toddler program runs from 9:00 to 1:00, Monday throughThursday.
educators Ms. Tammy has been working in the Early Childhood Education field since 1993, as an educator, program coordinator and director. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Human Development, as well as a Preschool Montessori Teaching Diploma. Tammy is Director certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and New Hampshire Child Care Licensing. In addition to working in childcare facilities, she owned and operated a family based learning center for four years and has three children of her own.
Mrs. Debra has worked with children ranging from infancy through kindergarten in both private and public school systems. She holds a BS in Business Administration and North American Montessori Teacher Diplomas in Preschool, Kindergarten and Elementary Education. Her advanced courses have been in Special Education, through the University of Phoenix. She is certified through the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and New Hampshire Child Care Licensing Unit. During her career, Debby has developed partnerships between local schools and businesses to help teens find balance between education and working environments.
Mrs. Terry has been working as an early childhood educator since 1996. Her classroom experience has been with children ranging from infancy through kindergarten. Terry holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and is Director certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and New Hampshire Child Care Licensing Unit. She also holds a Preschool Montessori Teaching Diploma from NAMC. During her career, Terry has developed and presented educational workshops for fellow teachers and parents.
